Woke up 1 morning at 6am to watch a eBay auction...

It was an anxious morning because somehow I am unable to connect to my home network using my lappy and the wireless around is very weak. End up, I log on and bid using my mobile... Thanks N97... Although you are still so problematic...
And YES!!! I won the bid!!! Wanted to bid for 1 as a Valentines' Day or Anniversary gift for baby but didn't managed to win any bids. Won it this time round. Although it's still early but this would be baby's advance birthday pressie....
Won the bid on 19th, paid on 20th... Seller responded that item was shipped on 25th and I RECEIVED IT YESTERDAY (30th)!!!! It was fast man!!! Was so happy to see the parcel after I got home from work... Took some photos and told baby about the surprise good news...

Tried to fixed it up just now after I knock off from work but 1 connector cannot be plugged in! Seems like the male connection has got 2 more pins that than the female connector... Went to KC to ask but they mentioned that there is no way to fix it... They might have another one almost similar, saying that if they managed to find it, all they can help to probably 1-to-1 exchange but we would probably need to top up a little more... VERY UPSET and DISAPPOINTING!!!
Decides to go for dinner 1st... Passed by Lim Tan and they are still open for business! GREAT! Went ahead to seek their advice... This time, they says it can be done but they will need to pass it to another workshop who specialised in wiring to fix the problem but it cost $100 to $200...
Comparing the 2 alternative, I would rather take Lim Tan's advice because both need top up anyway but Lim Tan can fix the problem and we can still use the same cluster that I bought! However, they probably needs 1-2 days so we decided to do it when baby sends his car for servicing.
Met up with Stephen, Vinson and Lynn for dinner... Stephen says he can fix it!!! He can be trusted because he DIYed quite a few stuff for baby already! So I told Stephen that if he can do it, I will treat him to a good feast!
So now, they are at the car park fixing it.... Let's pray hard..... And hope it works!!!

I went shopping!!!!
Haven't really went shopping for myself for a long time... Had to go Isetan to shop because my $50 vouchers is expiring by end of July so I desperately needs to use it.
Didn't wanna waste it but didn't wanna top much so decides to try my luck... I am not planning to buy new cosmetics now, planning to buy near year end... So I thought maybe I could get a new dress without topping much! Anyway, I have quite a number of wedding dinners to attend. Although I still have quite a few new dresses at home but no harm having 1 more to keep in case of emergency. Hehez!!!
Met up with Wenyi and Alan for movie and dinner last Sunday. So we went shopping before movie.
Luckily enough, I managed to find a decent grey dress with a little shimmering!! Just nice for dinner and the type i was hoping for! Something loose but doesn't makes me look too fat.. It was on sale and cost$60 after discount... Meaning, I only need to top up $10!! Yippee!! Hehez!!! (Cheap trill... =P)
We also bought 2 badminton rackets and a box of shuttlecocks. Have been talking about doing some exercises and badminton games but never got on to it, always giving the same reason... No badminton rackets... Now, NO more reasons to say NO...
Went for steamboat dinner at Coca after shopping. It is not that fantastic but so expensive!!! $45 after ++ per pax is so not worth it!!! But nevertheless, it was still nice because of the people you are with...
Movie was great! Watched Murderer at CineLeisure, starred by AARON KWOK!!! Gotta say his acting really improves a lot... The movie and storyline was pretty good too but it's kind of freaky as well... Recommended!!! Not because it's by Aaron Kwok but also because of the unpredictable storyline as well!
While leaving the complex, some shops were still open so did a little window shopping. Came to this shop that I bought Tranformers for baby previously. Wasn't prepared to buy anything but baby found the Choroq for Subaru Rally 03 and 05 models!! Has been watching the item on eBay for awhile but haven't decided to buy it yet. Luckily baby bought it because it is cheaper!!! Hehez!!!

About me....
What do people know about me?? How much do my friends know about me? And how much do I know about my friends?? All these came to my mind while I was bathing...
I guess not much friends remember much about me or when my birthday is... Or probably because I didn't give the chance to let them know more about me... Or maybe they don't even wanna know more about me... Anyway, I do wonder how many friends I have... Or how many regard me as their friend??
For me, it's very simple... Everyone has their own ideas, thinking, problems... I shouldn't load them with mine... But I do try my best to help if they need me... But why is it that I always feel that there are people who took granted of me?? Or maybe I am being too calculative? I am not saying that people must repay their kindness but maybe it might be good to show a little appreciation...
I believe that no matter where and when, as long as you show a little bit of appreciation to people around you, you can make their day! Everyone deserve a little from everyone of us...

Elysia's birthday...
Was supposed to meet up with Elysia and the girls to celebrate her birthday and we are also planning a surprise for her! But it was postponed because she was admitted to the hospital... Su is currently still with her.. Suspected slipped disc but I hope it is not that serious... She was already backache in the afternoon, that's why we changed the location from Cabana to her place... And now, she is in hospital...

Dinner with Fiona
Met up with Fiona last Friday for dinner... Fiona was my ex-manager who left a year ago to become full-time tai tai... Envy right?? She like not like those tai tai who goes shopping, high tea or mahjong session with other tai tais... Instead she is spending more time with her mum and catching up with other friends... Why? She used to work 6 days a week; Monday to Friday from 7am to 10+pm at night and 9am to 6+pm on Saturdays!! Hardworking right?? It's not just that but because she just have too much to do! After she left, her job was taken over by 2 people! Or maybe 2.5? Coz I am also doing part of what she used to do! Haha!
Chat over dinner was good as she is a good listener and adviser. I used to be afraid of her when she was my manager because she will scold for mistakes that I have done. But I accept it because she knows her stuff and to me, it's a lesson learnt. Working in this company, there will not be any guidance. You just have to do and try.. If it's wrong, you get scolded and re-do it. But it's only then you will really learn!
Told her about my situations as well and my overloaded work... As a matter of fact, I am not sure sure of what I am doing now... Told her of my idea to resign but also mentioned that it wouldn't be anytime soon... Also mentioned to her something funny... I was saying, I will be very angry if I knew that after I quit, they got to employ 2 people to share the workload I have... Coz company is really maximising me... But on the other hand, I would feel proud because I know I am capable of doing more than 1 person's job! Whahahah!!! *Dreaming*
She will also talk about her life for the past 1 year. She took up photography recently and she and her hubby will go bird-sightings!! Happening lor... I can go prawning or fishing but definitely not bird sightings... Too boring for me I guess... But it's really good for her that she finally found some new hobbies because she wouldn't be able to do so if she were still working in the company! She always wanted to do some charity work but time not right as she is taking care of her mum and having problems with her mum's maid.. But I hope she will be able to do it soon... That's 1 of the reasons she quit anyway...
After the dinner, I was thinking to myself... And Fiona also pose this question to me... "What do I want in life?"... What a difficult question to answer... There are so many things I want in life but most of them require $$$$$... Without that, I wouldn't be able to start what I wish to start and achieve... So I came to a conclusion... All I hope in life is a shelter over my head, enough to eat and no need to worry about having no money for daily needs...
Although I might not be contented with all these, but at least I know that I am more fortunate than a lot others in this world...

So painful....
Painful for my wallet and my gums...
Went to extract 1 wisdom tooth on Monday.. Was having a bad toothache and migraine on Monday thus decided to visit a dentist... I think the last time I visited a dentist was more than 2 years ago! Hehez... I never like to visit dentist... I am afraid of them, the equipments, sounds and blood...
Anyway, when I was there, dentist said need to extract the top right wisdom tooth... This 1 tooth extraction cost me almost $100... Pain... Then dentist says I need to extract the other 2 on my left as well... And the bottom 1 probably needs a minor surgery... Almost fainted... Scheduled the next appointment 2 weeks later...
However, my gum still feel pain the next day so revisited them again... Seems like my gum is a little swollen... Sigh... Why do I have to go through such torture?? So I was thinking, since already in pain, might as well extract the other 2 as well.. Once and for all!!! But dentist say not recommended since my gum is a little swollen but I was determined to get it over and done fast so my appointment was rescheduled to the Thursday in the same week...
Courageous? Haha!! I just wanna shorten the pain period and have lesser MC... Coz I was thinking if I will be given 5 days MC if there is a minor surgery so it might be good to have it extracted on Thursday coz I can rest over the weekends! :)
Thursday came and I went back to the clinic and was told can pay by Medisave if I have to go through the surgery! YIPPEE!!!! But then when I saw the dentist, she says doesn't need surgery... This means I will have to fork the money out! And the worst thing is my company can only reimburse max of $100 a year for dental! ARGH!!!!
The 2nd extraction was miserable... The extraction on Monday was quick and fast and I didn't even know that tooth is out! The Thursday was miserable.. The feeling is as if tearing a whole house down! I can feel that she used a few equipment and tools... The nurse gotta hold on to my head coz the dentist was trying to push and pull with all her strength! Both teeth was even chipped off! She managed to get 1 out but the other was still inside my gum... Dentist say it might be better to leave it alone coz it's so small... Shall wait for it to dissolve inside or reappear when my gum forces it out...
Forgot to took the photo of my 1st tooth extraction and reminded myself that I will take photo of the other 2 but the other 2 was so bloody! EEEEWWWWW!!!!
I HATE GOING TO DENTIST!!!!

Shopping for Jetfire
Went shopping for Jetfire after Stephen mentioned that it's available in Singapore... We 1st went to China Square as Stephen mentioned that there is an indoor flea market and lots of toy shops... I was really shocked to see so many toy shop and stalls!!!
Didn't managed to find Jetfire but I made a reservation for 2 Transformers ice-cream truck... They were so cute in the movie! Reserved 1 for ourselves and 1 for Vinson as a gift. Should be collecting it this month... We also bought the Barricador from the Transformers movie for Stephen...
Although we didn't managed to buy what we wanted, I bought these as well...
Doraemon mini mouse for Jesslyn...
Well, she will buy me LTS stuff if she sees it.. Although the things she bought are not the expensive type but still it's the thought that counts... So I decided to get this for her... It says there limited 2000 pieces worldwide... Don't know how true it is... And not sure if this mini mouse is way too small for her.. LOLX!!
LTS water bottle...
Actually I have seen it a couple of times and it's not expensive but can't bear to buy it coz I already have a Strawberry Shortcake water bottle of the same size from my dad... I was deciding if I should replace my water bottle with LTS but I decided not to. No point wasting money.. Instead, baby bought it... Well, I am not not changing my office water bottle coz I am going to put this in baby's car so as and when I am thirsty, I have water to drink. Hehez!! And also water available when I need to take my medication.
Since we didn't managed to find Jetfire, we decided to go Taka since Stephen already saw it there. We parked around Singtel building and check out the crowd!!!
Singaporeans really enjoy queuing up... This time, they are queuing up for the new iPhone 3G... I bet some of them have been queuing since the day before!
We walked from Singtel building to Taka to Wisma to Isetan Shaw to Wheelock and back to Taka... We saw the Jetfire in the shop at Wheelock's Place where I bought the Optimus Prime. Almost wanted to pay for it but Stephen says Taka is cheaper... The shop at Wheelock's Place is selling it at $129.95.
The have the display of Optimus Prime and Jetfire combined together...
So cool right??
Anyway, we walked back to Taka to buy the Jetfire. On the way back, we pop by Isetan to check it out coz I have a $50 Isetan voucher due to expire end of the month... Didn't managed to find Jetfire but we saw this....
Megatron!!! Haha!!
At Taka, we bought the Jetfire and they are selling it for $109.90... Savings of $20.05!!
Now waiting for baby to combine them during his spare time... Whahahahah!!!

I am not someone who change mobile phone regularly as I find it a hassle to transfer all data and contact over, personalise the settings, etc... However, baby was tempting me and he hope that we could use the same phone... So I got it...
It was OOS once it is realised and we both made reservation with our Telco... Received the phone 1st week of July... Actually it wasn't the reservation that I made with the Starhub shop... The customer service happened to call regarding my re-contract voucher so I asked them about the stock availability. So lucky that they have the stock for white so they delivered it to me that very week.
And her is my new 97!!
Was disappointed with it coz there is just so many problems... Ended up sending it for servicing when it's just 4 days old! Seems like there is a software problem for the 1st batch... $588 for re-contract after $100 re-contract voucher...
Now, waiting for baby to receive his black N97... It has been 3 weeks and he should be collecting it this week... Hope his is not the 1st batch and doesn't have the software problem...

The previous Saturday 0407 was a BUSY day... We went to finalise something, then to Wheelock's Place to collect baby's replacement bluetooth... Happened to pass by a toy shop and I bought baby 09's version of Optimus Prime... I promised myself that I will try to help baby collect full set of Optimus Prime...
Went Fu Lu Shou after that coz baby needs to get the plastic cover for the "Fo Pai" that my dad gave him... Actually need to get the cover coz baby accidentally dropped the "Fo Pai" and the cover broke...
Then pop by Bugis village to try sell N95... Managed to sell it at $230.. Better than trading in to Telco at $200...
Next destination was Junction 8... I need to get a wall fan and baby needs to do a new sets of specs coz he lost his during ICT... Initially, baby's budget was slightly more than $100 but ended up paying $400 after discount for a pair of Gucci specs with Zeiss lenses... Expensive hor?? Need to wait for a few days before it is ready for collection... Shall post photo after baby take photo of his new pics...

Went for Tranformers movie the weekend it was released... It was the 2nd time we watched it actually that week... The 1st time we watched it was on that same week Monday during sneak preview... Then, we watch it again that weekend with a big group... I booked a total of 15 tickets... Not sure what's the exact number because Stephen also had a separate booking... The following week, I watched the 3rd time.. Brought my mummy and John for the movie...

Met up with Wenyi and Alan for dinner... It has been a while since we 4 go out together... Baby feels comfortable when out with them...
We went to Timbre and there was a long queue... We didn't make any reservation so we waited for an hour! Gosh!!! The place was pretty comfy and food not too bad but i don't think it's as good as what so many people are wowing about... And because we were sitting in front of the stage, we had difficulty talking and hearing each other...

We went to Timbre and there was a long queue... We didn't make any reservation so we waited for an hour! Gosh!!!
